I come bearing pimpage for the Sharpe/Welly vids made and posted on youtube by Ortegoff. Unfortunately, the songs used are in Russian so I supply each vid with lyrics transliteration and translation.
'By the diamond river'.
Belaya Ptica A white bird
Tyanet put' svoj dolgij k tvoim glazam. Stretches its long way to your eyes
Kak tebe spit'sja How do you sleep
Na panikadilah i obrazah? On church chandelliers and icons?
Byl li ja v vyskom teremu Have I been to the tall house
U brilliantovoj reki? By the diamond river?
Ved' ne dobrat'sja zh nikomu Nobody can get there
Uzh bol'no dali daleki The faraway is too far,
Tam gde zhivet mechta moja Where my dream lives:
V pol-neba sinie glaza. Its blue eyes like half the sky.
Naverno net. Perhaps not,
Ne vozvratilsja by togda. Otherwise, I would not have come back.
Strannaja osen'- Strange autumn -
Jeti list'ja pripli k tvoim shekam These leaves have stuck to your cheeks.
Gde tebya nosit? Where are you wandering?
Zdet tebya dom, zhdet tebya reka. The house waits for you, the river waits for you.
Tam govoryashaja sova There a speaking owl,
Cht-to pytaetsja skazat' - Tries to say something.
Shipyat bessvyaznye slova, The senseless words hiss.
Goryat bezumnye glaza. Eyes burn with madness.
I vozvrashat'sja ne s ruki. And it is difficult to come back,
I neponyatno pochemu, And I don't understand why,
Ne gasnet svet v tvoem domu The light is still on in your house
U brilliantovoj reki. By the diamond river.

I'm Polish, so reading Russian songs in English transliteration sounds a bit strange to me, and I'd like to read it in original.:) I used to speak Russian, but it's been many years since I had contact with this language. I'd like to revise it again.:)
