Title: Garlic & Cream
Pairing: Holmes/Watson, slash
Rating: PG-13 for suggestiveness.
A/N: Yet another installment.
Allium sativum.
“Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good.” Alice May Brock.
The wind swept through the park, stirring the fallen leaves and making the immaculate lawns shiver. Only the velvet darkness did not stir, carefully wrapped around the trees and bushes and the distant outlines of buildings. They made their way through it undisturbed by passers-by. Watson allowed himself to wrap his fingers around Holmes's gloved ones. Holmes glanced at him, a small smirk twisting his lips and an amused sparkle lighting up his eyes, but his fingers were pliable and warm in Watson's hand.
Suddenly Holmes drew them into a small lane where the darkness was even denser for it was enclosed with tall hedges. Watson grinned and took Holmes's other hand into his, turning the man to face him.
'Whatever are you doing, my dear Holmes?' He asked, rubbing small circles over the man's palms.
Holmes smiled, a rare mischievous smile.
'I had this sudden and inexplicable urge to kiss you, Watson. Are you going to blame me for that?'
Chuckling Watson said:
'I would not advise it. The last dish was particularly heavy on the garlic.'
Holmes's face grew sober and his voice sounded almost stern as he leaned in closer and said:
'Do you really think I shall be deterred by such trifling a matter?'
His hot breath ghosted over Watson's lips and then the darkness moved, enveloping them too, hiding the lovers from the world.
Cream.
“I am as vigilant as a cat to steal cream.” William Shakespeare.
Holmes watched as Watson spread a thick layer of cream over his scone and bit into it. For some reason Holmes almost expected his friend to purr. He shook his head almost imperceptibly, amazed at Watson's ability to take such pleasure in his food.
'You should eat something too,' mumbled the Doctor around the mouthful of scone.
Holmes shook his head again and took a sip of his coffee.
'No, thank you, Watson. I shall leave the cream to someone who can appreciate it.'
Watson looked at Holmes with a curious expression in his eyes, swallowing.
'You don't like cream?'
Holmes grimaced.
'Not particularly.' His eyes flew wide open in surprise as Watson dipped a finger in the cream and carefully licked it off. He held Holmes's gaze as he did it again, but now sucking the cream off rather than licking it away.
'John...,' growled Holmes, his eyes darkening. Watson smirked and reached for the cream.

And the cream one. Mhgh. *loves*
