'Shining'.
Major Sharpe stood at ease,looking over the camp in the early morning light. Wellington watched him from a few yards away, waiting for his mount. A cloud moved away, and under the Portuguese sunlight Major Sharpe shone all over: from his dark golden hair to the last silver button of his new uniform. Wellington's breath caught.
